dance Immersion Youth Arts Program in collaboration with Ngoma Ensemble presents Drum and Dance Classes.
Explore movement and rhythm in a positive and inspiring environment through our program designed for those interested in exploring and learning.
Drum Classes - Students explore different rhytms from West Africa and learn the basic skills required to for playing hand drums.
Dance Classes - Students are introduced to the basic techniques used in dance along with various styles of dance from Africa.

4401 Jane Street (North of Finch, South of Steeles)
Drum Classes:
- Thursdays 6:30pm SHARP
- $7.00 Full term $70 per person*
- Drum rental availible for $5 per class*
Dance Classes:
-
Saturdays 10:00am - 11:00am ( ages 5-12)

Saturdays 11:30am - 1:00pm (ages 13+/ADULTS)

YOUTH ARTS PROGRAM
dance Immersion’s Youth Arts Programs provide a nurturing and supportive environment of experiences that reinforce the educational power of the arts and what it can bring to one's self esteem and self discipline. The organization has served over 7000 youth over the course of organization’s history, with programs that have been designed for community involvement, exchange and education. The Youth Arts Program incorporates dance Immersion, community, corporate and government agencies. The organization offers ongoing drum and dance classes that focus on rhythms and movement from West Africa while introducing and exploring other styles and techniques.
